Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is a specialised training method designed to increase strength and hypertrophy using load as low as 20% of your maximum.
If you’ve wanted to know more about BFR, this is your opportunity to learn about how it works and how you can incorporate it into your own training.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about Blood Flow Restriction training with the creator of the Sports Rehab Tourniquet, Dr Chris Gaviglio.
By the end of the course, you will learn:
- How and why BFR works
- The benefits of BFR across a spectrum of different athletics abilities including, general population, injury rehabilitation and elite athletes
- Discuss the indications and contraindications of BFR training
- The safe and effective placement of BFR cuffs
- How to include BFR into your own training (or that of your clients).
This 4 hour workshop will be a mix of theory and practical so if you want to know more about BFR, this will be a great opportunity to see and experience first-hand how BFR can benefit you.
It will also earn you 4 reaccreditation points the ASCA.
Chris has been using BFR for 10 years and brings a wealth of theoretical and practical experience to this workshop.
